3rd Year public exhibition held by one of the 3rd design units in 2009 for their thesis projects (Unit 5)

Unit 5 have spent the last year visiting four cities: Lost City, Capital City, Garden City and Host City.

They have studied, they have observed and they have played.

Having identified and selected a number of various locations within Glasgow which to base their studies, Unit 5 have examined how the citizens of each city live, play and interact, both with one another and with the city itself.
After studying these interactions in detail, Unit 5 have responded by developing a series of proposals which react and comment on the social and physical dynamics of the city and its citizens.

The projects on display here demonstrate the reaction of Unit 5 to their adventures in the four cities.
